If I was to be nice to every person I saw would it improve their day enough to make them a happier person? Would it make their day any easier if I had said hello to them as I walked past? These actions would have made no difference I would think. But what if that person was going to commit suicide once they got home? That simple hello could prove to them that someone does care. That hello might just save their life. Here is the issue I face. Should I go out of my way to make a persons day a fraction better?
